About

The story of Jack Riviere's educational and career path reflect a man following his passions. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a Legal Studies degree, Jack chose to become a public school teacher. Since he felt it was strange to be living in Silicon Valley without much knowledge about computers, he took a year off from teaching to work at Siemens Rolm where he learned not just the basics of how computers work but how to work as part of a virtual team. When Jack returned to teaching, his students benefited by seeing more and more technology integrated into the lessons.
During four years of life in Tokyo, Jack found that he enjoyed teaching both children and adults. He also gained experience working as an editor for a translation company and created content for a language training company's computer-based learning program. Japan's influence can be seen in Jack's taste for clean design work.
Over a decade has passed since Jack returned to work as a teacher in Silicon Valley. In the meantime, he has refined his skills in web design, video editing, and was even an art major for a couple years. He recently completed his Masters in Education with a focus completely on Online Teaching and Learning. As an Adobe Certified Instructor for Photoshop, he has trained a wide variety of people ranging from middle school students and teachers to the marketing department of a large corporation. He has made presentations at regional and statewide technology conferences and continues to find new answers to the following question: "How can technology be used more effectively in both educational and corporate environments?"
What can Jack do for you? He can help design media assets that clearly communicate your message. He can also design training modules that make learning accessible to your target audience. Feel free to contact him today.
